| District Governor Bobby Davis has been a member of the Rotary Club of Kingston since 2002 and served the club as secretary during 2003-04, president during 2005-06, membership chair during 2006-07, and Rotary Foundation chair during 2007-08.
He graduated from the District Leadership Academy in 2007, served on the District Membership Committee during 2006-07, and chaired the District Disaster Response Committee in 2007-08. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Paul Harris Society, and a Rotary Foundation Benefactor.
Bobby is an alumnus of the Leadership Roane County Class of 2000 and has served as President of Continuing Kingston and on the board of directors of the Claxton (Tennessee) Volunteer Fire Department. He is vice-chair of the Roane County Environmental Review Board and a member of the board of directors of the Roane County United Way.
He is retired from Federal service, having worked for over 36 years, in a variety of staff, supervisory, and management positions involving worker safety and health, environmental protection and restoration, waste management, emergency management, and contract management and oversight. He is Diplomate of the American Academy of Health Physics and Certified Health Physicist. He currently provides consulting services in the areas of environment, safety, health, and emergency management.
Bobby has two children and four grandchildren. He is married to
Dr. Deborah Alexander-Davis, an adjunct professor for Tennessee Technological University and Tusculum College, and a Senior Research Associate for the University of Tennessee.
