AG Judith Roney 2008

 

District Secretary Judith Roney


Judith has been a member of the Rotary Club of McMinnville Breakfast since 1990, served several terms on the board, then as vice-president, presidentelect, and president for 2001-02. She is a past assistant governor, 2005-2009, and is currently a member of the District World Service Committee and District Sexual Abuse and Harassment Policy Compliance Committee.

She graduated from the District Leadership Academy in 2006, is a multiple
Paul Harris Fellow, member of the Paul Harris Society, and is a Rotary Foundation Benefactor.

As a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor-MHSP, Judith has served as president of the Tennessee Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, is currently its Ethics Education chair, and served as member and chair of the Ethics Committee for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a recipient of the Tennessee Division’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Active in the community, Judith is a Master Gardener Intern, member and programmer for the South Jackson Street Band, member of the Community Chorus and accompanist, graduate of the Citizen’s Police Academy, past chair of Warren County Educational Foundation Board, and past recording secretary and fundraising chair for the original animal shelter.
