Recent District 6780 Global Grants 

 

 Oak Ridge and the Wurupong Health Center - this grant provided for rehabilitation and renovation of the health center, help in providing clean water and stable electricity, new equipment & supplies, and vocational training for the staff. 

 

Chattanooga and Chattanooga Breakfast Haiti Mountain Latrine project - provided the materials and transportation to the remote mountain areas, and provided training for the villagers for maintenance of the latrines. 

Chattanooga Downtown Dominican Republic Potable Water Project - installed potable water systems & education to an elementary school 

Heart to Heart Girls Orphanage in Mexico - provided computers to the orphanage for education & literacy 

Knoxville Thailand Water Project -  provided a water filtration system for a village, with an area to fill 5 gallon buckets on one side and cups for clean drinking water on the other side.
