Objectives

Membership Goal (required)

Achieve a net increase of 2.5% for District 6780.

Extension Goal

The District objective for extension is the chartering of 2 new clubs in the 2010-2011 year.

Here is a 4-page list of Classifications you can use.

Strategies

The strategies for membership growth are: Have at least 20 % of club members each bring a potential candidate for membership as a guest to a club meeting. Recruit at least 1 Rotary Foundation Alumni. Increase the diversity of your club’s membership by selecting two new members, who belong to a group that is underrepresented in the club. Recruit at least two new members, who have experience in community, vocational, or international service work.

Recognition

Recognition of membership growth can take place at both the club and the district level. At the club level, present every member who sponsors a new member with a Rotary pin that incorporates the "SPONSOR ribbon" on the pin. Also present members that have sponsored multiple new members with the addition to the Rotary pin that designates their sponsorship of 2, 3, 4, etc., new members. Club can order pins from vendors.

District recognition will be presented at the District Conference for the clubs that have achieved the 2.5% net increase or sponsored a new club by March 31.  Each club that achieves the goal will be presented with a Reach for Rotary patch for the club banner.
