He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Paul Harris Society, and a Rotary Foundation Benefactor.
Bobby is an alumnus of the Leadership Roane County Class of 2000 and has served as President of Continuing Kingston and on the board of directors of the Claxton (Tennessee) Volunteer Fire Department. He is vice-chair of the Roane County Environmental Review Board and a member of the board of directors of the Roane County United Way.
He is retired from Federal service, having worked for over 36 years, in a variety of staff, supervisory, and management positions involving worker safety and health, environmental protection and restoration, waste management, emergency management, and contract management and oversight. He is Diplomate of the American Academy of Health Physics and Certified Health Physicist. He currently provides consulting services in the areas of environment, safety, health, and emergency management.
Bobby has two children and four grandchildren. He is married to
Dr. Deborah Alexander-Davis, an adjunct professor for Tennessee Technological University and Tusculum College, and a Senior Research Associate for the University of Tennessee. Deborah is also a member of the Kingston Rotary Club, serving as club president in 2011-12.
