GLOBE Club Award

There are many clubs in District 6780 that are actively involved in international service. In order to both recognize and promote international service, the District's International Service Committee has revised the Globe Club Award program.

Please review the new form and criteria. Every club in our district, regardless of size or location, should be reasonably able to achieve Globe Club Award status under the new guidelines.

To achieve Globe Club status in any year, a club must do four things:

  1. Participate financially in an International Service project.
  2. Participate financially in the Polio Plus program.
  3. Have a club program that presents an international project.
  4. Have a club program that discusses the Rotary Foundation, Rotary Foundation program(s), or youth exchange.

To document your club's achievement of these standards, complete and submit the 2025-26 Globe Club Submission Form  (PDF) (Word)

Each club which attains the Globe Club award will receive a recognition certificate.

To receive your Globe Club recognition, please fill out the form and submit it to International Service Committee Chair Jim Shamblin by email at  jim.shamblin@gmail.com.

For recognition at the District Conference, please have your submission in by March 31, 2026.
