$250 Club Information

One of my goals as District Governor is to increase contributions to the Rotary Foundation and PolioPlus. So, I instituted a $250 Club. Members of this club contribute $200 to the Annual Fund and $50 to PolioPlus. In four years, a Rotarian will also become a Paul Harris Fellow ($1,000 contributed to the Foundation). Remember that half of all Annual Fund donations are returned to the District for grants three years later.

Each Club Treasurer must track this as this isn’t an official program of Rotary at this time. A club member should indicate his or her intention to become a $250 Club Member. This is an increase of $110 over what we have asked Rotarians to contribute in the past which was $100 to Annual Fund and $40 to PolioPlus.

The number of members in each club should be reported in the Volunteer Hours report through the club president to the area’s Assistant Governor.

The goal for 2019-2020 is for 10% of the members to become $250 Club Members. The BHAG (Big Highly Ambitious Goal) is 20%.
